The welfare of every child is our primary concern.

All Sefton School Sports coaches are DBS-checked, first aid trained, and follow our safeguarding procedures at all times.

Reporting a concern

If you have a concern about a child's welfare during one of our activities, please contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately. You can also contact:

Staff procedures

All staff must report any safeguarding concern immediately to the DSL. Records are maintained confidentially. Where a child is at immediate risk, emergency services are called without delay.

Photography and consent

Photographs are only taken with parental consent. Images are never posted publicly without consent. Children are never identified by name in publicly shared images.

Medical information

Medical and emergency information is available to authorised coaches for each session. This information is never shared publicly or included in non-secure communications.
